“The first year I competed in the Swiss Masters Athletics, the guys that were 60 – 65 – 70 years old, they were my inspiration. I switched my mind to say: I still compete but I want to be healthy the rest of my life. They are the models.”

Sport keeps us fit, it keeps people healthy and you can see from the smiles on the faces what it means to them to be still active and competing in events like this and meeting people throughout their whole lives.

“We see people this year we saw in Torino, and we see them at other places and you start to see people again. Compete against people and you become friends over a period of time.”
